CHRISTmas EVE
The Holiday season is filled with so many things, lots of parties, "to do" list, Christmas plays, cookie exchanges, and memories to be made. And among the hustle ans bustle of the season, Jason and I tried really hard to prioritize and not say "yes" to every holiday activity. One thing we have tried to do every year (well for the last 2 yrs) is attend the Christmas Eve candle light service at our church. Last year we were able to share a pew with our close friends, the Olin's, but this year we were blessed to have more of our family join us, so we had to reserve our own pew :)
"Silent Night, Holy Night
All is calm, All is bright,
round yon virgin mother and child
Holy infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace!
Silent night! Holy Night!
Glories stream from heaven afar
Heavenly host sing Hallelujah
Christ the Saviour is Born
Silent Night! Holy Night!
Son of God loves pure light
Radiant beams from thy Holy face
with the dawn of redeeming Grace
JESUS, Lord at thy Birth"
